Solace in Solitude

[Somatic Practice Space]

Saturday, May 17th
12-2pm Central

with Jayda Shuavarnnasri

In a time when building community is essential for collective survival, this workshop invites folks to examine the equally essential role of solitude. Channeling the wisdom of serpents, this workshop is for folks who desire to be in a loving relationship with their own solitude. Utilizing a visualization practice, we will explore our current relationship with "being alone" and why it might feel uncomfortable for so many of us. Through guided discussion, we will explore how finding solace in our solitude helps us show up more resourced for our communities, and touch on the difference between solitude and isolation.
