Inter-Sovereignty for Creative Practice
[Somatic Practice Space]
Saturday, May 10th
12-2pm Central
with denim d chang
As facilitators and creators, our role in liberatory change and culture shaping must be relationally consensual and trauma-sensitive. Our relationships to our practice in itself precisely that; a relationship that we can be in consensual co-creation with, that which honors our practice as its own sovereignty and autonomous entity.
Becoming anti-capitalist in our practice requires us to be in integrity, interdependence and inter-sovereign with our work and all that we invite to experience it. This session will be a discussion on the meaning of inter-sovereignty in today’s culture, and will explore somatic practices that help us build an embodied practice.
Liberation in Iterations
Donations-based drop in space for anyone who wants to engage in a consistent practice and develop the relationship to their nervous system and spiritual embodiment inside of liberatory work.
Each session, a different topic and practice will be explored in depth, with a rotating schedule of practitioners and educators.
The experiences of QTBIPOC will be prioritized in this space. White and white-passing, as well as those with majority white ancestry are asked to participate in a learning capacity and will be prompted for shares when appropriate.
